If not, the Chinese have 2.3 million people in their military, 8 million militias, and an industrial capacity greater than the whole NATO countries combined. Russia doesn't need it, and it's a liability to fight with troops not familiar with Russian doctrine. At most, NK workers will help in rebuilding civilian areas damaged by Ukrainian attacks.

They bring North Korean engineers to build combat cohesion. The pact is mostly to cause headache to the US in the Pacific. Ukraine war has been one sided for months now.

US already has Colombian troops in Ukraine also. To each its own.
